PROUD MOMMY

My 3 year old son is already studying in a day care center. Wow! I can't believe it! Just a few years ago he was in my arms. A few years ago he was crawling on the floor. A few years ago he was a baby!

Ched and I were really very excited to see him in school. We bought him uniform and even went to the grocery and bought him his "baon", towels, socks, bag, and school requirements, etc...

I was also nervous at the same time. I'm wondering what will he do? Maybe he will wander around the room, play with the things around, talk with his classmates or maybe fight with them. O my God! I wouldn't be there to stop him.But everything turned out right. My little boy is behave in the class. So attentive and constantly raising his hand to answer the questions of the teacher.

My mom and my mother in law were the ones who look after my son. And with the stories they shared during his first few days, I was really glad and so flattered at the same time.

It's good that he easily learned how to count numbers and how to recite the alphabet. It's good that he already knows what are the parts of his body and face. It's good that he was exposed to educational books. It's good that he knows a few songs and a few poems. It's good that he knows various names of animals. It's good that he can distinguish colors and can tell different shapes. It's good that he knows how to use the words "po" and "opo". It's good that he knows how to make the sign of the cross and how to pray. It's good that he knows who is Mama Mary and Baby Jesus. It's good that he watches cartoons coz he can practice speaking the English language. And it's good that he easily learns things when you tell him. And a lot more.

As a mother I am really proud of him...When you to talk to him, you'll feel that you're talking to a 4 or 6 year old boy. He knows how to reason out. He knows when to give thanks and when to ask for sorry (sometimes inaaway niya si chan at chock!) He shares what he has (but sometimes hindi...hahahha).

He is an extra ordinary boy. There's still so much about my child (of, course). And you know what his teacher placed him in the 11:00 to 1:00 class where his classmates' age ranges from 4-5 years old. According to his teacher he is a fast learner and his intelligence level is not of a 3 year old but that of a 4-6 year old.

Now tell me, is it just right to be a proud mommy having a son like Jennard!
