Fun and Merriment at Star City

"It's always nice to come out from your own shell and mingle with people from a different walk of life."

Last Saturday, June 18, Richard, Jennard, Nica (my youngest sister) and I went to Star City to spend Father's day. Aside from us we were with Ched's officemates from KODAK. We were with Bheng and his family (Kat, Rigor, Nico - Jennard's favorite, Anne - the ever, super duper, mega and most friendly of all, and with ate apple - halos mamutla at malagutan ng hininga sa Viking - hehehhe). We were also with Ronald and his family (his wife - I forgot the name, his kids, Princess - Nica's new found friend, the little boy and his youngest and cutie baby girl KiKay - Jennard's new found friend).

We were all very happy and we truly enjoyed the night. The kids really had a great time playing, running and enjoying the rides. We rode at Viking and entered the Mummy, Gabi ng Lagim and Ice World. We also roamed around and window shopped. We even ate at Chowking and played with the different games.

It's also a good night for me coz I saw Mazaco Hirao - my barkada. I'm glad I saw her again after graduation from high school.

That night before I went to sleep, I looked back to those moments and thought that it's such a wonderful time being with your own family enjoying every second that counts and spending your day with different set of friends. It's really a good feeling sharing with them jokes, laughter, fun, stories and ideas. It's very tiring but I had a wonderful and fruitful time with my family and with new friends. I'm looking forward to having such a good time again with those folks.

Celebrating 4 years of ups and downs

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Ched and Jheng Posted by Hello

Ched and I will be celebrating our 4th year anniversary as husband and wife on the 10th of June. Time really flies fast. I never thought we will reach this far. For me it is an achievement. There are some couples who ended up crying, regreting and wishing to start their lives again after marriage. But look at where we are now? Four years is not a joke...we've been through a lot of things (good and bad) before we reach this stage. Our marriage is not always sailing smoothly on the sea. Sometimes we traveled the rocky road and attempted to look for shortcuts. We fought over things that were often times non-sense, petty and sometimes had heated arguments. We kiss and make up and managed to remain sweet and caring to each other. Our marriage is not just a moment of laughter and fun. There were times that we wanted to give up. But after we thought of the things we fought for, the happy moments we shared together and the things that happened and came to us, we realized that those were just challenges in life. We struggle hard, cried a lot and sacrificed so much and that we never want to give up instead hold on to each other's arm as firm as we can. There were some who judged us that we will never make it. Others wanted to destroy us. But God has His own way and will. The most beautiful thing that keeps us going is our angel...our son...Jennard! and of course having great faith to God also made us stood firm and brave passing the test of time. I am hoping and praying that we will still be together until our hairs turn gray and still sitting beside each other holding hands just before the sun sets...

Finally they tied the knot!

Boy and Me-ann finally said their vows in a matrimonial ceremony held at the Mt. Carmel parish in Quezon City last June 4, 2005 at 3:30 in the afternoon.

Boy was my classmate in college and was my officemate, my close friend, a brother I look up to and now ka-pamilya. Me-an is the cousin of Richard...Cheers to both of you!

Congratulations and welcome to the family Boy and best wishes Me-ann!
